Day at the office

Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, that's all there ever is when running a business! That's the boring side, luckily it means we have shows forthcoming which makes it all seem much more worth while. I guess blogging isn't a very good idea when there's work to be done, back to it then!

It's MAGIC!

So, there I was doing my usual close-up set in a restaurant last night, you know the trick where a magician sticks a pen through a borrowed bank note? I've performed this loads of times but nothing prepared me for what happened next.

I actually ripped the borrowed £5 clean into two that a lady had just lent me! She did not seem at all impressed but her daughter seemed to have more faith in me magic than I did - she re-assured her mother telling her it was "only a trick and not to worry".

I'll admit now, this was not a trick! Further more I haven't learn torn and restored bank note yet - there I was with each side of the ladies note in either hand, for real!

I casually folded it up and placed into my pocket and moved onto another trick, the lady had a genuine concern for her £5 (as I did too!!) - without giving too much away, for the first time in my career, it was time to perform the impromptu 'Torn and Restored Bank Note'; I'm not sure if such a version exists, but it does now.

Luckily it worked, I managed to complete the set with sticking the pen through the £5 and restoring it again for the 2nd time that evening. I gave the lady back her £5, who was gobsmacked.... so was I!

Site issues sorted

a few technical problems with the site, but now we're back in business. Lots more enquiries coming through now, which is brilliant news - Krisgar Entertainments making a happier event for you!

Another meal out?

Ok so our friends are getting married and all we seem to be doing is eating out, we had another meal this evening - more magic shows needed to fund this habbit!!

Don't try this at home

Ok so i bought an electric fly swat and decided to try it out on my finger, very painful - i suggest you don't try this at home.

Out to dinner

So we're very hungry, I say me I mean the Mrs Magic Chris and I. We've decided to treat ourselves to a Pizza hut, a pizza hut, kentucky fried chicked and a pizza hut! Ok i went off on one there, sorry about that readers. Any way off now, super hungry!

Pinch punch and all that jazz

Wow 1st September already?! This year is going so quickly, too quickly. At least the weather is an improvement on the last couple of days. Oh well I guess we'll start advertising Christmas shows at this rate.

New Uniform?

Just been out to the shops and have purchased a new shirt for Krisgar Entertainments, our old uniform has started to wear ever so slightly... it's all about keeping it fresh!

Hungry Horse Shows

well Krisgar Entertainments is very proud to have been able to perform for the Hungry Horse chain - 2 great shows in the last month and now they've asked us to perform on a monthly basis!!

Super Mario Balloon Model!

Today we had a go at some balloon modelling and managed to create a Super Mario - just in time for the Birthday Party at the weekend which is a Super Mario themed parties!

Far too long!

Wow peeps, it's been far too long! I should blog more regularly! Lots of shows recently so Happy Birthday to all those chlidren who have been celebrating over the last couple of months.

So many shows have lead to the unfortunate damages to some of our props, but our Blue Peter skills have been put to good use and repairs have been made!

Car Insurance

Oh what a boring time we're having this morning trying to find a decent car insurance quote, I can't believe prices have risen so much since last year!! Oh well back to it I guess,

website updates

a few website updates, titles all sorted and now the site is in 2011 not 2010 at long last. Only 3 months late, right enough work tonight speak soon Krisgar Entertainments magic fans!

Early start

Morning campers! Krisgar Entertainments on the road again this morning with an early start - it's a good job we enjoy a good old Birthday Party :)

Krisgar Entertainments has just spent the last 2 hours sifting through a backlog of booking forms and contacts, finally all sorted time to hit the workshop!

Marcus' Party!

Happy Birthday Marcus, yet another wonderful party with 25 very well behaved children! A pinata followed the Magic Show - I wish I got a go. Car unpacked and ready for more of the same across the weekend! Time to catch up on paper work, oh the joys!

Lauren's Party

Happy Birthday to Lauren who was 7 two weeks ago but waited until today to have her party! It went really well and I hope you enjoyed it, Tricky Teddy has yet another follower thanks to your nan.

Magic Convention

Had a wonderful time in Blackpool at the worlds largest magic convention, had a great time with Mrs Magic Chris! Left at 00:00 Monday morning and returned almost dead on 04:00! Back through Milton Keynes and now home in Barton-Le-Clay!

GlenWood School

Just got back from GlenWood School, a school for complex learning needs. The children really seemed to enjoy themselves and were so well behaved, hope to see them all again. Enjoy the balloons guys and thanks to those that helped out!

Ellie and Momodou's parties

Had a great day on Saturday, the two birthday party shows went amazingly well, with magic, mayhem, bubbles, balloons. A truely great day, wore my poor disco light out which now needs to be fixed - off to the menders I go!

A long day...

Finished work at 20:00 on Friday, got me head down to ready for a busy day on Saturday! Two 2 Hour Parties, Ellies at 2 - 4 and Momodou's 6 - 8.
